Eh... *lifts shoulder* rather good, but the ending could have been better. Should perhaps have ended just with a tender embrace with the entire family... hm...

I truely enjoyed reading your story...it was far above average LOTR slash, especially considering it had male pregnancy in it, which isn't easy to include! I'm grateful to have found a story that encompasses all of my favorite aspects of Legolas fan fic. Thanks for sharing your gift with us! :)

Chapter #7 I think. Oh Oh Elrond is angry. Not a good idea to anger such a high and mighty elf Lord. Wait until he finds out there is more.
I do like the idea of Aragorn ~letting~ Legolas go into battle. After running the plains of Rohan for days a little battle with Uruk-Hai should be a piece of cake. Those elves even pregnant they are formidable.
So now we have Jarab and Elrond going to bond father/son style. I hope Arwen doesn't fall into a faint when she finds she has a half-brother, oh and a half-sister soon.
And Elladan and Elrohir are on their way to Helm's Deep. Can things get any more complicated for Legolas? Ha! I am going to love what's coming up. giggle

Oh good. I am so glad that Elrond wised up and accepted true love. And now they have a little bundle to bring up together. Everyone can be one big happy family. Let's face it with elves a few hundred years would be like weeks to us. More chapters for me to read. Good. giggle

chapter the ninth
Naughty Thranduil. Cut off his nose to spite his face. If he can't have it his way then it will be no way at all. He can go stew in Mirkwood as long as he wants because eventually everyelf who chooses will be in the Undying Lands and there is nothing he can do about that.
I am glad that Elladan and Elrohir got their act together so they can take it on the road. After all they lost one sister and they need another one.
Now we just have to get Legolas feeling better and Elrond and Legolas enjoenjoy love's old sweet song. With Gimli as the bridesmaid. giggle

I could say parting is such sweet sorrow but I won't. I guess since Legolas got to bring up Jarab he felt that it was only right that Elrond get his shot at bringing up one of their children. I say one because I feel that there will be a few more in the Undying Lands. No one said they don't have children there.
Also the reasoning behind having her go is a good one. Don't let her make a choice like Arwen's.
So Thranduil mellowed in his loneliness. Good. was was just a bully and confronting him calmed him down. Being a King must not be too good for your ego. Makes it really swell up.
We get Ithilien and we get Jarab getting to make his own choices. At least Legolas didn't take so much after dear old Ada.
I think I only have one chapter to go. Sigh. giggle

The End?
Oh that was just so sweet. I loved it.
Haldir as a son-in-law. OK. I feel Les' s' pain. Book Haldir was nice. Film Haldir was schizo let's face it. One movie a pain and the other a hero.
Let's see Elrond has one gentle son, Jarab and four headstong offspring. I g I guess we could say the headstrong part is probably the slight human blood they have. Human blood must be very strong or very weak depending on your outlook.
I always wondered about book Arwen. At the end did she really comprehend what she had given away. I think I have read thn thn the canon books but men's fea or soul goes to Mando's Hall also but after a period of time they depart and no elf knows where they go. So Arwen would be reunited for a short time with Aragorn and then who knows. No elf does.
I get from the books that once Legolas leaves that is it. No other elf ever gets to take the straight path to the Undying Lands. There may be another take on it somewhere. So the ones left behind fade away. Legolas would be sorry to never see his family again.

I read the first three chapters and then I must have missed this repeatedly. I am so glad I found it again. I really liked this from the beginning and now I have a lot to catch up on.
First I knew Legolas would get pregnant. It was kind of a given. I love mpreg. It is payback for my 19 hours of labor and then a C-section. I enjoy the men's misery.
I'm glad it is a girl. I think Legolas would have a gorgeous daughter.
Of course Legolas has to go on the quest and I am thrilled that Gimli is going to be a big help for him. I love Gimli and Legolas together as friends but I do not care for G/L slash. Can't quite suspend disbelief that far.
Going to get all caught up now. WHEE!! giggle
