Well of course the dwarves were drunk. They felt safe in the hospitality of the elves and were taking full advantage of it. Nevertheless they were not very helpful. They can't complain about being left out, the elves did try to get them up.
It is nice that Elrond's children will be helpful. He s ths that to continue to heal the prince.
So they felt his arm move. That is a good sign. I hope it is anyway. And yes smack you for a minor cliffie. Consider yourself cyber smacked. (grin) giggle

i have been enjoying this story over at LiC. it is so full of cliff hangers! Just when i think there will be resolution, off you go again and leave me dangling!
