Perfectly lovely. An excellent take on their relationship. I've only just started reading Hobbit fics, being mostly an elf fanatic. This one is great, captures Sam and Frodo perfectly.

Wow, that was beautiful!! The way you described everything, in a none Tolkien way.. totally impartial, objective and everyone left in character (IC)!!!
I just couldn't stop cry/smiling.. it was so intense and you made their feelings tangible, real like and sad.
Oh if only Frodo could get what he deserved.. but he was right when he told Sam that it must often be so when things are in danger, someone has to
give them up so that others may keep them. ;_;
Was the sacrifice worth it? Poor Sam and Frodo!!
I just think about what Gandalf said when I read this fic: "Some people who live deserves death. And some who die deserves life.."
But hey, great fic!! ^-^
