Thanks for the clarifications. Sometimes I get a little picky. ;) Thanks for the update...keep them coming! I'm looking forward to how the Twins and Legolas will react to Rumil's brothers when/if the show up for their brother. hehe

oooh i just read finished reading the Lorien Orphans and was sooo glad you did a sequel.....am waiting for more with bated breath!!!

When I first started to read this I couldn't tell that it was a sequal to "Lorien's Orphans". It didn't make sense that Glorfindel and Rumil didn't recognize each other. Aren't elves supposed to have perfect memory or something like that? ;) Although you did explain later that they remembered each other, so I guess that helps cover it, but it doesn't explain why Rumil didn't recognize Glorfindel at first. Glorfindel not recognizing Rumil is acceptable because he would have "grown up" since "Lorien's Orphans". But also, what about the fact that Orophin is bonded to Erester and Elrond and Haldir are together, wouldn't that have set up more times for Rumil and Glorfindel to meet? I guess I just don't understand the whole "strangers, so hav int introduce ones self to the other" in the second chapter, but I guess it's for the story. :)
There is also one place where you put Orophin instead of Rumil. It's in the last paragraph of the middle section of chapter 3 (as posted here) "They rode for two days straight until the reached the border oladrladris. They dismounted and walked their horses. They were stopped by the twins. Orophin hadn't seen them since they were elflings. Smiling Rumil followed them to the last homely house." So you may want to edit that to reduce confusion. ;) Unless iallyally was supposed to be Orophin, but then it doesn't make sense with the paragraph.
Now don't get me wrong, I like what you've written and I can't wait to see how you get Glorfindel and Rumil together. It's not a pairing you see very often. It'll aslo be interesting to see what kind oAdulAdult" trouble Rumil, the twins, and Legolas can get into. *hehe* I just wanted to let you know what was confusing me a little.
