oh, please do continue! I love Elrond-Thranduil pairings, and your Haldir-Erestor relationship is very intriguing! I am also loving the glimpses of Glorfindel/Ecthelion story that seeps through the story. Beautifully done. Please update soon!

Elladan took Thranduil's wise counsel and spoke what was in his heart to Legolas. Way to go Elladan. Good thing Legolas recognize his feelings to be mutual love too.
Was curious about Legolas' comment about having been infatuated but never in love. Usually having been infatuated means a person had very strong feelings about someone. Maybe having been infatuated, he realizes the difference in his feelings about Elladan, though not being love at first sight or love struck as being the real deal.

Everybody's finding love and kisses so far. That is very sweet. A tiny bit of angst still but not too much. This last chapter was just sweet. giggle

I've just read thd that I forgot to review your earlier chapters. How fortunate for Elrond to get approval and acceptance from Celebrian, and now his father-in-law to find happiness with a new lover. Not a common occurence I would think. Thranduil is such an understanding and caring elf to want to listen to Ellads cos concerns.

Those spiced apple pastries sounded so delicious. Haldir is one multi-talented elf to be so versatile in the kitchen too. Rumil seemed to act as if Haldir was making the pastries as a means to seduce Erestor. I thought Haldir just did it because Rumil was a finicky eater. Haldir did not pursue Erestor in the kitchen or in the baths when he saw him.

I am trying to catch up reading after having the flu.
This has been fun watching all the stories and pairings swirl around.
I love Haldir in the kitchen although according to Tolkien men did a lot of the cooking in the elven realms. I wholly approve of that concept myself. But then you couldn't have had that very nice moment in the kitchen between Haldir and Erestor and I wouldn't want to lose that.
I can't wait for the match up between Haldir/Erestor. That will be fun. giggle
