That was an all around odd story. I did read the entire thing. Although I didn't enjoy it. Perhaps it was mostly the major amount of out of character behavior. It started to feel rushed as well. Not too planned out. Espescially the last few chapters.

While I really did enjoy the story. Somethings just didn't flow right for me. The ending seemed choppy and kind of abrupt. My main problem is Thrandrail. O.k. so he loves Elrond , thats cool, but this is still the elf who would have beat legolas for making arwen cry. Not only that het he (elrond) literally choose to give legolas to aragorn and possible death to try to prevent his own daughter from choosing mortality. That just doesn't jive for me. Despite freeing the wrolly lly enslaved mirkwood elves in the end, Elrond was still kind of a dick and had no problem with them being slaves originally as long as it worked to his advantage.
I really liked the premise of the story, but not entirely the exeon. on. I just don't see Thrandrail as being able to overcome Elrond rather asshole-ish behavior to marry him. The way you wrote him he just doesn't seem like he'd be able to immediatly come to terms with the sudden equality in a marriage; no more just ordering his lover around or the other elves for that matter.
I loved the twins, arwen seemed a mite bit dumb, fellowship was great, just Elrond and thrandrail bugged me. Just don't see a happy shiny ending there (beyond the whole death part.)
Keep writing. Good job.

Just an ibittbitty comment: you describe Legolas in this chapter (4) as prone but prone means lying on the stomach. Supine means lying on the back.
